Bingo is believed to be a very simple game. Most of the adults are aware of the game and the rules to play it. It is easy to learn and many youngsters have mastered it as it is easy and uncomplicated. Due to this simplicity and the major facts that it does not need any equipment or investment to play it, number of teachers implements it as a good teaching tool for children.

In schools, besides children, teachers have also adapted themselves to these Instant Bingo Games which assist them in their English and reading. In such situations, the children play this standard bingo game wherein the teacher acts a bingo caller. Apart from using bingo cards that are printed with numbers, letter or words cards are selected by the teacher.

Few ideas of playing bingo in the classrooms are as follows:

Teaching Phonemic Awareness: In this, various students are provided with the bingo card that is printed with letters in squares. After the school teacher speaks the word, the students identify the letter with which the word begins and finds the square that matches to it.

Sight Words Practice: These are called as the words which the students are required to learn in order to achieve good reading fluency. Typically, these are practiced using printed bingo cards. The students are asked to find the square that matches to the words called out by the teacher.

Vocabulary Improvisation: The Bingo cards are printed again with the words that are selected by the school teacher. Herein, the students are asked to do same thing of matching square to the word provide by the teacher.

Identifying Speech Parts: In the vocabulary game of bingo, teacher chooses the cards that are printed with the words selected by her. In such a case, the students are expected to find parts of speech that are particularly based on the description provide by the teacher.
